

Township Solicitor James Byrne presented Thomas Comitta as an expert witness in the areas of town planning and landscape architecture. Site of a veterinary practice, 1200 West Chester Pike is zoned O-1 Office, and 510-534, site of Pep Boys, is split zoned C-3 Commercial and R-4 Residential.


In conjunction with the challenge, Delaware County Outdoor has signed leases with property owners at 1200 and 510-534 West Chester Pike for the purpose of installing billboards at these locations. HAVERFORD -Testimony continued before the Zoning Hearing Board last week in a controversial case concerning Delaware County Outdoor’s substantive validity challenge to township zoning ordinances that the company argues “exclude commercial off-premises advertising billboards.”
